Turkey, especially Belek and Antalya, offers the perfect combination: mild winter weather (15-20°C from January to March), FIFA-standard natural grass pitches that are reseeded each autumn, luxury all-inclusive 5-star hotels, and excellent flight connections. Over 500 professional teams from across Europe train here every winter.
The peak season runs from January to March for winter training camps, and October to November for mid-season breaks. Summer is less suitable due to temperatures exceeding 35°C. Most professional teams book between January and Easter.
Prices range from €50-80 per person per night at club-level facilities to €120-200+ at elite 5-star resorts. Most hotels offer all-inclusive packages including accommodation, full board, pitch rental, gym access, and recovery facilities. Group rates apply for teams of 20+.
Most Turkish training camps feature multiple natural grass pitches (often FIFA-standard), floodlighting for evening sessions, modern gymnasiums, swimming pools, recovery and wellness centres, video analysis rooms, and dedicated team meeting spaces. The better resorts have pitches on-site or within walking distance.
